The GGF, Austrian Society for Health Promotion, was founded in 1998 in St. Georgen am Längsee/Carinthia. Our declared objective is to make the individual more aware of his or her self-efficacy and personal responsibility for his or her health. The health know-how of all the experts in our network should arouse the knowledge, motivation and enthusiasm for a lifestyle full of vitality and should be made available as a tool.

The GGF sees itself as a centre of competence for the scientifically-based Buchinger-Lützner fasting method. Fasting creates the basis for a fundamental occupation with one's own life and frees the mind to concentrate on the essentials. We achieve our objectives by communicating preventative health strategies in the 5 holistic pillars:

As well as training our fasting and health coaches (GGF Fasting Academy), we offer seminars for all people interested in health in their free time (GGF Event Calendar) as well as Coaching for solidly healthy employees in companies. Certified fasting holidays and holidays with the highest quality of health is offered by the hotel label initiated by the GGF, Fasten für Genießer® Hotels.
As a platform for "healthy epicures", the GGF looks to cooperate with sustainable associations, institutions and companies. Our holistic approach unites the well-being of all living things. We propagate an organic lifestyle and an ecological quality of life!
