The Fasting Days
The fasting week has five fasting days. The first begins with "glaubing", emptying the intestines with the help of Glauber salt.
The daily progress of the remaining days is as follows:
- Early on. Active awakening, morning passage, enema, weighing.
- Mornings. Gymnastics, walks or getting fresh air at the window. Drinking.
- Noon. Fasting soup (vegetable extract), noon rest with liver wrap.
- Evenings. Evening drink: diluted fruit or vegetable juice. Relaxation exercises.
- Night-time. Ensure warm feet (hot water bottle). Drink night-time tea. Open window.
The enema
The enema is an important part of fasting: Running water through the intestines with an enema devices ensures daily cleansing. This supports the intestines in their detoxifying functions. This is important in order to avoid fasting discomfort.
